Hit '9' when CamerAware loads and you'll get 'skin test mode', which looks spookily similar to the above wink.gif

Hi Paul

I'm sure Im being a bit thick here, but can you explain a coupe of the windows? What are the two small red and yellow boxes alongside the satellite fix windows telling me, and the number below the compass point?

All working well on my Tytn, I'll update with my suggestions for the app after a few more days of use.

Im a bit disappointed at the lack of user feedback so far on the forums, what do you think?

Regards

Rob

Good questions robt, i'll add the answers to the FAQ too!

- The little red box is the number of cameras in a red-alert position, that is they are within one mile, and a direct threat given your current direction of travel.

- The little yellow box is the number of cameras in an amber-alert position, that is they are within one mile (your current direction of travel is not taken into account).

- The number below the compass point is your current heading in degrees.

With regards to user feedback, I think there will be more as more people buy and use the app... it is still early days! smile.gif

Paul,

Can you please confirm how the arrows and cross works? I know they allow me to indicate camera changes (new towards, new going away, new both directions and camera gone) that are uploaded to your server (at app exist?), but what is the logic applied to the arrow up and down. If I click the arrow in the direction of travel (up) will that indicate that the camera is 'targeted' at my current direction of travel? Or vice versa?

Any estimates on the next version and all the changes you are looking at for the tracker site?

Missing my Vario II at the moment. Took it back for repair when the screen gave up completely with no drops or damage. I even tried a hard reset but could not set-up the screen because screen presses were not even seen by the device.

Look forward to the next version smile.gif - with so many suggestions and the very great potential for additional capability and integration with Tom Tom it looks very promising (or are we asking too much of you?).

Cheers

Tony

That's correct, up arrow is facing this direction, down arrow is facing the other direction, up / down is bidirectional, cross is missing.

Next version will be released soon (adding basically only night mode and full screen support), followed by the new cameraware site, followed by major update version 3.

No timescales atm tho i'm afraid.
