Any bugs that CM10.1 has will be present in Electra except for the following:

Thanks Cyda for the mirrors :)

George109 was kind enough to upload the ROM, GAPPS, and the addons to his mediafire server, so you can download mirrors of my stuff HERE

Installation Instructions.png
  • First time user
  • Press the +1 button
  • Download the ROM, the GAPPS, any available patches, and put them on your SD card
  • Boot into recovery
  • Wipe data/factory reset
  • Wipe both dalvik/cache partitions
  • Choose zip, choose the ROM, and install
  • Choose zip, choose GAPPS, and install
  • Choose zip, choose patch (if available) and install
  • Reboot
  • If using TWRP, do not allow it to fix root if it prompts you to. Root is fine on this ROM
  • If coming from another version of Electra
  • PLEASE READ:
  • If you are running a version of Electra that has not been installed with full wipes, do not report bugs as It causes confusion. Installing without full wipes can cause bugs, so full wipes are usually recommended. You can flash without wipes if you wish, but do not report anything to me as it's not my fault! Thank you.
  • Press the +1 button if you haven't already
  • Wipe cache
  • Wipe Dalvik cache
  • Choose zip and then choose the ROM
  • Reboot
  • If using TWRP, do not allow it to fix root if it prompts you to. Root is fine on this ROM
  • You may also have to flash GAPPS again, otherwise the Play Store will disappear.
This ROM is based on CyanogenMod 10.1 R3 meaning it is multibaseband. You can flash it on the 2030 baseband or the 109808 baseband without any problems.

The first boot always takes longer, so make a cup of tea while you're waiting. I also recommend giving the device an extra 5 minutes even after boot to ensure a smooth experience. Once you have done this, have fun :)

Over 90 downloads in less than an hour, yet under 20 +1's. Press that button people, It's free. I put a lot of effort into creating this, so please support me. It motivates me to continue working.

You can also +1 the FAQ if you haven't already as it gives me a better rep Posted Image

#2081750 [JB] [4.2.2] CyanogenMod 10.1 [ROM] [NIGHTLIES NOW AVAILABLE]

Posted Dazzozo on 27 January 2013 - 04:34 PM

CyanogenMod 10.1 for the Huawei Ascend G300

Sources: github.com/Dazzozo & github.com/androidarmv6

FAQ:
Where did the developer/performance options go?
Tap on the build number 5 times in "About phone".

Where did the recovery reboot option go?
It has to be enabled in developer options, and it only works when your device is unlocked.

How do I use FM Radio?
Spirit FM supports the G300 as of 21/12.

Why is Photo Sphere unavailable?
The G300 doesn't have a gyroscope. Currently Photo Sphere is basically dependent on one. If development occurs within CM that provides a workaround, you'll know about it.

Why isn't ADB working?
https://plus.google....sts/M2pVM7Y6MTq
You need to update your Android platform tools and then approve the PC on your device. Android 4.2.2 feature.

Downloads:
ROM available on my GetCM, which allows for OTA updates. Check out "CyanogenMod updates" in the "About phone" menu.

#2067512 [DEV][ROM][14.5.] CyanogenMod 10.1 (Android 4.2.2)

Posted KonstaT on 21 December 2012 - 08:30 AM

This is my port of CyanogenMod 10.1 for ZTE Blade. It is unofficial and unsupported by the CyanogenMod team. This ROM is mainly for developers/testers/advanced users. I'm really not interested in hearing whining about non-working things (and questions when they will be fixed), actually I couldn't care less if you have issues with this ROM. ;) There's instructions/sources in the third post to build CM10.1 yourself. If you must have something fixed right now - you better do it yourself.

You'll need at least 160mb system partition for the ROM and gapps to fit. Both gen1->gen2 and G2 TPTs are available at Amphoras' site.

Working:

#1989702 [DEV][ROM][8.1.] CyanogenMod 10 (Android 4.1.2)

Posted KonstaT on 17 July 2012 - 10:10 AM

This is my port of CyanogenMod 10 for ZTE Blade. It is unofficial and unsupported by the CyanogenMod team. This ROM is mainly for developers/testers/advanced users - people who are aware that this ROM is incomplete. I'm really not interested in hearing whining about non-working things (and questions when they will be fixed), instead your ideas/input on the remaining issues is welcome. Sources and instructions are available in the second post for you to build CM10 yourself.

  • If coming from another version of Tesla
  • PLEASE READ:
  • If you are running a version of Tesla that has not been installed with full wipes, do not report bugs as It causes confusion.
The first boot always takes longer, so make a cup of tea while you're waiting. I also recommend giving the device an extra 5 minutes even after boot to ensure a smooth experience. Once you have done this, have fun :)

116 People have downloaded this ROM, yet I only have 27 +1s on this thread

If you use my work, the least you can do is press the green button in the corner. Its free, and it makes me happy so what do you have to lose? If you are a user of my ROM and haven't already pressed that button, please press it now as it doesn't harm you in any way.

You can also +1 the Addons/FAQ section as it gives me a better reputation on the MoDaCo forums :P

Thanks :)
