To hard reset, press and hold the power button and poke the stylus in the soft reset hole on the bottom of the device.

Pocket UFO, formerly on PC and Amiga as UFO:Enemy Unknown, reprogrammed for PPC and is shockingly free. Excellent turn based strategy game in later beta stages and very playable. Just like the original with some deliberate changes for the better:

This is such a cool thread but I cant seem to install some of them, such as the ereader and WiFiFum 2. Does anyone know of any links that can help please? I got WM5 SPV M5000 with a SD card.

@Squilla, first thing to be wary of is that not all software is compatible with the operating system on your device, Windows Mobile 5. You'll need to check the source in each case. As far as how to install, there are two methods most commonly used. One is a .cab file that should be transferred onto your Pocket PC device and then run. Follow the instructions on your device to procede with the install. Then there are .exe installs which have to be run on your desktop PC. They usually link with Activesync to install the software next time you sync. As before, follow the instructions given... |

Thanks loads for your advice, I have always tried the .exe way annd have always been unsure of cab files on my device so you have cleared that up for me.

Cartrack freeware in Dutch and English, and WM5.0
The programm uses the compact Framework 2.0 and SQL server mobile 2.0 The installer installs CarTrack, CTExport, CTImport, CTUpgrade and SQL Server for CE 2.0  More pictures of the dutch version, here Download the separate friles from here or the complete package from here English version are marked with a UK flag.
