Just to blow the whistle on this guy.

Sporkguy has been banned around 10 times on Neowin.net. A forum that I moderate and post news to.

He is well known for lies and annoying forum members.

hmm i read somewhere that Orange have opted not to provide EDGE or wifi on the c600. So wouldn't an upgrade of WM5 for C550's basically make them a c600 ?
can't see them making an upgrade sad.gif

In Sporkguys defence...there was an Acadamy meeting on the date he claims - a couple of colleagues of mine went on it (I was busy at uni sad.gif ) so ease off him - he genuinly is just relaying info he could have been given

Think we should rephrase that to 'he COULD be genuinely relaying info he was given'.

Pondrew,

Amo is right. According to you he 'could ..be relaying' - he was relaying it, fact. The question is whether or not it could have been genuine. wink.gif

Know what did I do with that half-eaten dictionary???

I was also there! They want to release the update quarter 2 but there has been some issues with the test upgrades.

QUOTE(peekie @ Oct 14 2005, 11:58)
spoke with orange over here and the only wm5 update that seems to be rumoured is for the c550  wink.gif if it does not come out then the first upgrade for the c600 would probably work with a tweak wink.gif

Surely a M500 running WM05 would be a different device? Like the MDA Compact II on T-Mob.
