I spoke with a rep at HTC directly and when I asked him if a flash rom will be available for the Qtek 9100 he said this...

To make upgrade easyer you can download MDA Vario update utility and update your unit. Device should be unlocked.

For additional information I am recomending read Wizard upgrading forum.

I am miles behind this, where can you download new Tmobile (UK) roms from? am I being thick or what, tmobiles website is fab, but then there is just no support for smartphones, especially no games.

but where are the roms?

Oh, and the link at the top of this thread, thats where I got my first update from months ago, and a new one was then, due out in march, but now the link dosnt work :cry:

I'll receive a Dutch T-Mobile MDA Vario tomorrow and I plan to use RUU_Prodigy_1060204_105_11210_TMO_UK_Ship.exe on it to turn it into an English version - (how) should I save the original firmware image from it?

same here :/ Can anyone tell me which and why he installed a certain ROM? Currently I think I'm happy with my phone except that I have to restart it from time to time since it wouldn't log onto my WiFi or connect to the computer using Bluetooth... anyone an idea?

Its because your phone is t-mobile not a qtek.. they will only supply roms to people who have a qtek

Go to Tmobile and get the Vario ROM there, it was taken down for a while but it is back again and much more stable the original one it was shipped with.
