Sunday July, 15th, 2007

You may recall from previous threads on this topic that I bought and paid for a copy of CamerAware that I could not get to work on my Motorola MPx220. That situation has not changed and was not resolved.

Since then I have decided to invest in a new phone and I now have a Qtek 8500. I loaded CameraAware on to it and when attempting to update I was offered and accepted an update to version 1.060919 which was successfully installed.

I also entered in my original Serial Number: C43801641 and Activation Number: 18005779 when I first purchased.

Whilst my version has updated to 1.060919 it cannot validated. Can you help please? At least if I can have a correct validation number to permit this version to work correctly, this will resolve to my satisfaction my unsettled dispute with the Motorola episode.

Best regards

Device(s): HTC Touch HD

I'm not sure what to do in this situation. Firstly as you bought the software for an unsupported device, although I did create a skin to make it work, and then your device is doing something totally unexpected with regards to the reboot - which I haven't been able to replicate on a MPx220 here.

I guess the only option is a refund, which I am loathed to do, as unfortunately the sublicence fee for your copy of the database has been paid.

Could you confirm for me which firmware version etc. you are running on your MPx220?
