Sleepdoc, if it makes you feel better, we don't even have the latest version running on our phones but VERY SOON. You will be very happy showing it off to your buddies. I promise.

I cannot imagine how much better this release is going to be. I have yet to run into anyone who was not impressed and/or jealous. Keep up the great work.

Thanks,
Brett

Yea, sorry guys... but, in all honesty, we're waiting ourselves. I can't speak for Jamma (even though I'm pretty sure he feels the same)... but I love the skin myself and because it is not done, I am running an un finished version of it on my phone. SADFACE.

As Jamma said, tomorrow is the day.

And just to keep you itching, we already have plans for the NEXT release. The SkinProject is gonna be showing everyone how skins are supposed to be. smile.gif

I just wanted to leave a reply real quick so those of you that are checking this thread frequently understand that we are doing everything we can to get it released today. I sent the final images to Jamma last night and he is going to be putting the finishing touches on the cab. After we both agree that it's perfect it will appear on the site. It's just as good as we've been promising but amazingly, it's only gonna get better. There will probably be another release to this skin before we move on to something else but who knows? Leopard is coming out soon smile.gif

Phew...finally finished. smile.gif

There are two download parts - the part01.rar in the download section and the part02.rar in the first post of this topic. Just download them both to the same location and extract the files out of the part01.rar.

Hope the wait is worth it!

James

Oh and read the README people, that's why it is called a readme!

Great work.

Can someone post a screenshot how the last screen should look? The one that kind of has a post-it note with "the SkinProject" written on it. Looks a bit strange on my HTC Excalibur.

Other than that all looks to be working fine and looks great.

What program is supposed to be installed for the Quicktime link? Says I don't have player installed.

I have a couple questions about the launcher at the bottom. I was using the earlier version of the skin and it worked beautifully, the newer version looks amazing and I can tell it is going to be wonderful, but atleast on my phone the buttons at the bottom do not work correctly. I looked in the folder on my storage card where the links are saved, and the ones listed are "1 Finder, 3 Safari, 5 iPhoto, 6 iTunes, 7 Quicktime." In the actual theme, however, the only links that work are mail, iCal, RMU, and the dashboard. When I try to scroll through the other links it simply skips all the other screens. Also, underneath the file explorer, mail, iCal, the RMU, and the dashboard there are arrows pointing at the icons, what do those mean? Lastly, is there a way for me to the clock work (the calender works but not the clock) and to change the tasks listed on the Dashboard?

Overall this is a wonder skin, and I can tell that once I get it working well on my phone it is going to be amazing. Thanks for all the hard work you guys put in in the last week or so to pump this thing out!

I can't answer your questions about the dock, that's Jamma's field but... the arrows at the bottom of the main icons are just another thing I did to make it completely like OS X. The arrows signify the open applications. Finder, on a mac, is always open and then I put an arrow below the other apps that will normally be running on your phone. The arrows are not functional but still add to the OS X feel.

Jamma will probably respond soon about the techinical issues. Thanks for the kind words.

gotchya, I've never had a mac (sadly, I can't afford a stable computer) so I'd never seen the arrows before. Even though I can't figure out how to get all of the buttons at the bottom to work right (I'm sure I just haven't set them up right or something) I already love how good this new skin looks and feels (especially the new mail plug-in and the new RMU setup, very nice!)
