Agreed Metoo - its a design fault - the tiny toxscrews are cracking all 4 corners - and ASUS knows about it!
And in a few weeks time it will become worse - trust me ASUS support are not very fast to answer, send UPS, or repair it. Maybe it will have to go This post has been edited by Joost39: May 16 2008, 17:55 -------------------- My history of nice "tools": McDrive + GARMIN XT

Paul and Jost since you guys say that it gots memory leaks.... what do you guys normaly doo ?
A guy at XDA said that memory starts at about 20 and drops to 12, but still stable, the Windows gwes.exe that grows all the time ????? Does the task managers programs correct the memory leak? by freeing memory ? Our we should use programs like SK TOOLS free ram ? our other program that help to free memory. ?? Our just make reboots ? Thanks. |

I'll upgrade to 0.18 once I get the time, but it's the same as 0.17 just with a few other features added. |

Anyone know where I can find a replacement screen for my P750 or somewhere that will repair it?
Managed to render the phone useless by scratching the screen (foolishly put it in my pocket - apparently not the thing to do!). Asus want to charge me 67 quid just to post it to them so they can give me a quote |

I'd like to install the VGA ROM. This is my first Windows Mobile phone and I've never changed ROM on it before, so any help would be appreciated with these questions:
Will I need to back up my current ROM first? Am I likely to lose anything when I put the new ROM on? (programs, messages, settings, etc.) Can I easily restore my phone back to its current state if anything goes wrong? Although I've not done this exact process before, I've flashed other hardware (DVD writer, HDD recorder, etc.) before. I'm a software developer and I know my way around hardware and software pretty well. I just like to always cover myself with a backup should anything go wrong. |

I must say that this device looks really great. However, I'm doubting a little bit because it only has 64mb of RAM... Is it a problem, or don't you really notice it?
Furthermore, if I check out prices, it is only a little bit cheaper than the HTC Touch Diamond, so it becomes a really touch choice: the Diamond with its TouchFlo 3D, GPU, bigger screen, more RAM, ... and this P750 with a phone-keypad and microSD-support. Anyone who has been able to compare these two devices? Thanks in advance edit: Hmm, I realize how odd the chances are that someone has tested both devices since the Diamond is not released yet... Reformulation: If the Diamond was available when you bought the P750 at roughly the same price, would you still have bought the P750? The only pro's it has are a keypad and a microSD-slot... But I do like the tought of having a keypad... Tough choise This post has been edited by CyberKieken: May 25 2008, 16:51 |

Hi Zimaia!
Nice! and sad that it allready have new cracks in the corner, they told me it was a bad batch from ASUS and that it should be better now? But my reseller did not aswer my mails, and I bought it online from Austria approx. 1-1.200 km from Denmark.... So I called ASUS Scandinavian support, they helped me after 4-5 mails of complaining. The P750 has been in Holland for repairs, over two weeks now and I start wondering if I´ve ever get it back. -------------------- My history of nice "tools": McDrive + GARMIN XT
