Shadow Mike's Full Screen Neo Theme

This does not include a cab. as the cab creator I have is for PPC's and my shadow wont let me install a cab from my program for some reason.

This is going to be released in 2 different versions. 1 Version for those that want to quickly install this and the 2nd version will be for those who want to continue working on this theme and edit the images to their liking. all images will be grouped for easier editing.
UPDATE... Added Iphone addone theme. copy full theme from ez install and then copy image contents of the iphone addone to the windows directory.

VERSION 1 - EASY INSTALL. (Unrar and copy the image contents to your shadow via active sync and reboot your phone, Enjoy a full screen T-Mobile Shadow.)

Version 2 - Skin DEVS

Looks great! Thanks for sharing!

One question, how did you edit the animated GIF TMO_Shadow.gif? I have tried to rename/delete/overwrite that file and it tells me that it is protected. I have run the app unlocker too.

Thanks in advance!

I guess I can overwrite it with your file so that's al that matters. But how did you edit it?

I have taken the iTunes icons and modified the base theme to make a simple black.

You can get the modified images here.

Does anyone know how to change the color of the highlighting on the start menu? As seen below, it is still brown.

I believe that color is edited through the chome XML file in \application data\home
Though at this moment I can't seem to find the correct field in that file. That file MAY also be in \windows\

I believe in \application data\home\cmhome.home.xml, you need to edit
<color name="COLOR_HOMEHIGHLIGHT" value="#D5B867"/>

You can also set the colors in an external file. In this post: http://www.modaco.com/index.php?s=&sho...st&p=859865
the attachment contains a blue.scheme.xml. Inside, you'll see:
CODE
<colorscheme>
    <title>Blue</title>
    <scheme>
        <color name="COLOR_TRAYGRADLEFT" value="#044494" />
        <color name="COLOR_HOMEHIGHLIGHT" value="#00143C" />
        <color name="COLOR_HOMEHIGHLIGHTTEXT" value="#044494" />
        <color name="COLOR_HOMETEXT" value="#FFFFFF" />
        <color name="COLOR_HOMERULE" value="#2e444f" />
    </scheme>
</colorscheme>

If you create a similar file and put it in \application data\home, you can select it in settings\home screen\color scheme.

When you unzip or unrar the file you download, you will copy the images you want to \windows. Make sure you pay attention to to what images you copy so that you are getting the "theme" you want.

Also, before you copy any of the images to \windows, I would make a backup of the images you currenly have, so if you decide you don't your changes, you just need to copy them back to \windows.

I have edited that line in both \application data\home\chome.home.xml & \windows\chome.home.xml. Both didn't work :-( Even after a power cycle of the phone. After the phone came back up, I verified that the changes were still there. It's not in the registry is it?

I could be wrong. It has been a while. Checking here: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms839391.aspx, perhaps it's COLOR_HIGHLIGHT instead?

Hey is there any chance someone could make a cab file for this theme? I unlocked my shadow but I'm still getting permission denied on many of the files. Thanks

Are you currently using the Neo theme? Change your home screen to something else..., let it load up, and reboot your phone. Now copy your new theme files over, change the theme back. Might have to reboot it again for everything to load properly.

Thanks to all the expert instructions and hard work from the pioneers here and at AllShadow.com, here is my custom home screen, with full background and color icon bar. For this I simply modified the original T-Mogile default theme by replacing the graphics and changing cmhome.home.xml.

ShadowMike,

I noticed that in one of your packages (can't remember which one, I think in the iPhone one) there was a dial.gif and dial.png. How do you get that to show up on your phone? It would be extremely helpful when calling 1-800-FLOWERS or something like it.

You need to rename the *.gif one to be BrandingBrick.gif, and copy it to the phones Window directory. Backup the original if you want.
