The app reports back stats, so developers can see how many people are checking for updates...

I see SKTSync in the stats but I have the last version of this app installed (1.06) and it is not in my ATD list

I installed the beta but when I run it I get an error message that I need a newer version of the .NET framework. Running WM5 on an 8125. Is that true? If so, how would the user know this is needed? Could the install verify the correct version before actually installing?

Your device doesn't have .NET CF2 or newer installed, but you can install that now (you don't need to reinstall AppToDate)
Most newer devices come with CF2 in ROM, which is partly why nobody bundles it with their apps. MS dont make the CAB itself directly available for some reason, but you can download the PC installation which (if you connect your device with ActiveSync) will install onto your PDA too. .NET CF3.5 download .NET CF2 download |

Can you add a field in the XML file for developers to include an updates/fixes list?
Maybe that could even fit in the current description field and be visible in the Fullscreen Description if developers were given the suggestion to include such a list there. |

Memory requirement is pretty small, ~200k IIRC.

Hello. I installed 2.08.04.28 on my WWE Touch Cruise (stock WM6 ROM).
