Once more... can you extend number of characters for name?

AFAIK, there is no limit for the characters...

Does that change if you click on "Full screen description"?

Scripted: S2U2 > Scripted: S2U2
Scripted: S2U2 Slidetounlock > Scripted: S2U2
Scripted: BatteryStatus > Scripted:

There is characters limit and it show only complete word.

Paul,

I have a small bugreport from the HTC s620. If I run AppToDate, a folder called "programs" is created in the start menu (as familiar on the pocketpc platform, where the programs are located). However on the smartphone this folder is empty, and I have to delete it manually. wink.gif

A new version has been released today with a number of bug fixes.

Run AppToDate to get it biggrin.gif

I may have found a couple of problems with the new one. I'm using an E650 with Dr. Gonzo's ROM. I have 3 items in my list but can't move up or down them or select anything. The previous version was ok. Also, if I do a refresh I get the original list of items and then the refreshed list added to the bottom.

Just deployed a quick-fix for those two bugs. Smartphone UI still isn't 100%, but it's usable wink.gif

Thanks. That's fixed those. Just spotted another one though. If I go into the details for Google Maps I can't scroll down at all. I guess that's probably related?

New Apptodate installed. I can't put a tick on the checkbox to download Google Maps or vtap.

Bug?

Edit - If I press the box once, it doesn't appear. But if I keep tapping 4 or 5 times, it appeared.

It's as if it's slow at responsing or something.

I posted this to the main section and had 73 views but no responses. Maybe this is the correct place? I just installed AppToDate today and the app is hanging on me. I can see it checking for updates and the percentages increment. Then the text goes away and the bottom bar shows "Download" and "Options" grayed out and the spinning hourglass just sits on the screen. At that point the application just sites there. I cannot kill AppToDate with SKTools or any other task killer and i have to reboot to get it out of memory. I am running Windows 6.1 on a HTC 6800. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
JD

Any chance the display of the 'Free and Fun' section could be made optional? This way, I only see what's out of date or up to date... Also, why once I've downloaded Google Maps does it continue displaying under 'Free and Fun' as opposed to 'Up to Date'?

Also, just curious why you must go through the menu to see the item details rather than just tapping on the item to bring these up? Seems more intuitive IMHO to tap on the item...

Excellent idea for an app and its obviously gaining traction quickly. Congrats!

Not sure if this is specific to my Mogul, but I'm unable to use the dpad to move up/down in the list of apps like I would expect it to work. huh.gif

Also, I came across the screenshot in this post and thought it looked better than the current way of having the details on another screen. Will this method be returning in the next release?

Is it possible to add a possibility to decide the order of apps installation - I have phoneAlarm that wants to softreset device after install and all others apps I have to download one more time or install manualy. It will be great to have a possibility to make f.e. pA istall after all others apps
