Attached is my "Bouncing Ball" game(!) for SGH-i900 tongue.gif

Switch to portrait mode and turn off auto-orientation before starting the program. Put the phone on the table and select "Sensor->Calibrate" if you want some basic auto-calibration, or just hit "Sensor->Turn On" to start the "game" wink.gif .

When the ball lays still on the right wall or on the bottom, the ball will continue jumping, but this is not a bug, it's a feature i'm too lazy to change biggrin.gif .

Have fun tilting and swinging your Omnia around.

wow, u r the man...

any chance you can access the vibrator also??

Can ou please tell me/us how you get the sensor working and what files you need for that (dll etc.).

there is a link to the source code how to get the sensor working in my first post. Actually you don't need any dll's for accessing the sensor. Some DeviceIoControl calls will do the job.
QUOTE(merlot @ Sep 27 2008, 11:50) *
And can you also explain me how to program such a game. What software do you need for? Thanks man.

since i'm away from my home computer i'll post the BouncingBall source after a few days. (Visual Studio 2008 C++ Project).

I have only VS2008 and WM6 SDK Refresh installed on a VirtualBox running XP. Havent tried to open the projects in a former version of VS.
Creating an empty c++ project add the .cpp and .h files to the project should work imo.
I debugged some apps which use the vibrator to figure out how to access the vibrator. attached is a project which uses the same vibration pattern as in Dice.exe.
if anyone finds out what the structure passed to the 2nd parameter of function ImmVibePlayIVTEffectRepeat should be, please share rolleyes.gif

Edit: Also have ActiveSync 4.5...

I become the Failure :

The Project Consists entirely of Configurations that require support for platforms wich are not installed on this machine. The Project cannot be loaded.

--

I really want to work with the Projekt, i can open the .h files (C#/C++)

But this are not the real...

EDIT : Speleomaniac , can you Disable the Rotation of the Phone, during the Program is Started ?

When i rotate my Omnia, its Rotate the Complete Screen to?

know you a Function in C to Deactivate this?

3D Model Viewer from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=428608

Kai's Bubble Level.Net.1.5 from http://classic.pocketgear.com/downloads.as...Level.Net%201.5
Lightsaber from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=408147
Diamond Beer from http://www.palmtopmagazin.de/software/?a=d...0529&dev=12 (starts but nothing happens smile.gif)

wow! I'm impressed!
I even don't imagine that porting HTC API for Omnia would be possible.
Many thanks for this!

I can't wait to test listed games.

i managed to run the game on omnia, but because the resolution is not suitable for it, i can see only about 1/4 of the screen, and the game is not playable. but the tilt sensors and vibration when hitting walls work fine.

Edit: Diamon Teeter can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427980

Yup, this is great! Just tried sensormaze and the lightsaber games and it works fine.

Edit: Just tried "Diamond Beer from http://www.palmtopmagazin.de/software/?a=d...0529&dev=12 " and it works for me, though the graphics are a little off due to VGA res. In case it might help others, I installed CF3.5 and installed the games in My Storage.

Improved version of the BouncingBall "game".
Folder needs to be copied under \Program Files\. (hardcoded images laugh.gif )

Tapping screen closes application.
Pressing action button does calibration.
