Mhar just uninstall the apps in settings-uninstall

As for 1.7 you need to downgrade using mar's procedure "Edited ROM Image flash"

what is WINHEX? you've said that install winhex in your pc? where can i find this software? can you give me a tip?

Winhex can be found here http://www.x-ways.net/winhex/index-m.html
As for a hard reset you do need the card in the phone as this slows down
the process.

i followed ur clippings re globe gprs settings using resco explorer. however, i cannot find the Show my Registry (Menus-Add Ins) so Im unable to associate my REG files. Canyou help please?

Sorry too bad RESCO Explorer dropped that plugin, i guess you guys need to do it manually. Anyways, its not that hard, just follow the instructions on the first page.

Make sure that Globe has setup MMS on your account.
If not just type in your Smartphone SMS:
GO N7650
and send it to 2951 - This will enable you to receive MMS
dont mind the N7650 it will work for your smartphon

I'm new here and I have done the abovebut all I get is "the contecnt of this message cannot be displayed" I don't know if the MMS has been activated/set up or not but I still cannot seem to browse the GPRS. Hope someone will answer me or e-mail me at erad64@yahoo.com

i don't know if this is your issue: if the content is not displayed, then maybe the attachment in the MMS cannot be read by your viewer (i.e., MIDI, 3GP, etc.). I had successfully configured the settings for Globe. In order for me not to change the settings everytime when i change my SIM to Smart, I created the MMS settings for globe nad nemed it "MMS Connection Globe". It worked guys.

NB: To make sure that your MMS & GPRS are working, try SIM using other phones such as Nokia or SE.

Hope this helped.
