I have the latest Cameraware beta and also the latest Apptodate build - both downloaded & installed this morning.

I ran Apptodate and it says that both of them are updated:

AppToDate: 1.0804031
Cameraware: 3.080404

Yet there are two checkboxes next to it and when I selected both of them, and clicked on the Update button, it started to download them.

Is this right? I don't think so. smile.gif

On the other hand, I think I'm misunderstanding what it is for... it allows me to reinstall the software if needed?

Yes, that's intended functionality for two reasons.

1. It lets you redownload and install existing applications (e.g if you have problems with them)
2. It lets you back up your apptodate directory, copy it back to your device after a hard reset, and automagically install all your apptodate apps biggrin.gif

I thought so, could even be made into simple 'backup app list' and 'restore app list' menu items.
