Device(s): Orange SPV C500 & SPV E650

Please can someone help an E650 newbie.
I have upgraded from an Orange SPV C500 to the E650 and for some reason neither my desktop or laptop will recognise the E650.
I have installed the Activesync from the disk provided and although it will link with the C500 when I connect the E650 all I get is "your device was not detected message".
I don't think I have done anything wrong in set up (and I have read the manual) but if there is something obvious that I might be missing I would really appreciate some help before I get on to Orange.

Cheers

Try disabling the Advanced TCP/IP functionality, by unchecking USB to PC in Connections.

If this fails, it is most probably best to start over.

Ensure that you are using AS4.5, if not download it from M$ directly. Remove all partnerships from the E650, and start again...

But fingers crossed the USB to PC should do the trick

Thanks for the help.
E650 and Activesync now working happily together.

Cheers
