Device(s): Nokia E51, Mwg Atom Life

Looking for a PDA / SmartPhone and need advice. I already went for a Mwg Atom Life a week ago (first venture away from Nokia ! into WM/PDA territory) - think it's basically same as XDA Orbit - but WLAN range is disastorous compared to my E51. So, Atom Life is up for sale. So, looking for another PDA / SmartPhone.

What is must have :

Windows Mobile 6
WLAN with very good range
3G / HSPDA
Good sized screen (min 3")

Nice to have list :
FM radio

P.S. just to put the "WLAN range" into context - in my house 2 feet from my Router, Atom Life gets 4 out of 4 bars - Nokia E51 gets 3 out of 3. Gor downstairs and E51 still had 3 out of 3 and Atom has 2 out of 4 ("poor connection" status). Go out in back garden and Atom Life has 1 out of 4 and can't connect. E51 still has 3 out of 3. I live in a 3 bed semi and not a mansion
So, if you're suggesting models of SmartPhone with WLAN, they must ne as good as, if not better than the E51.

TIA
Rob

Out of interest, did you change the WM6 settings to use "Power" rather than "Performance"? It sounds daft, but my TyTNII didnt work too well under "Performance" mode ... but now works brilliantly in "Power" mode.

It does make sense alright - wifi always takes power and so, probably the more power they use, the better the signal.

But I've tried setting it to Performance and Power but still a very weak signal

Thinking to get a Spectec 802.11g Mini-SD wifi card smile.gif
