 SMS texts not being received, Why are my texts being declined?

Hi,

I am on Virgin and seem to be experiencing difficulty sending texts to the orange network. Even tho I am with Virgin my Vox shows T Mobile UK on the homescreen. I can send texts to other virgin users and T Mobile users but I am not able to send to orange. The texts says its been delivered but then I get a system administrator message saying it couldnt be delivered. Just wondered if anyone else was having this problem.

Device(s): HTC Advantage
T-Mobile provide the backbone to Virgin IIRC, hence why the network display is showing that.

Strange the SMS aren't getting delivered tho, definitely sounds like a network issue. Have you spoken to Virgin about it?

Thanks for the reply Paul. I'm popping into town tomorrow so I will ask at the store and see if they can help in me out in any way.

Hang on, this is soooooo spooky...I have just received a text while answering your reply to say that a text I sent to my friend today has been received. Finally, exactly one week later I think the problem is over! How weird is that! Must be your magic touch! Or something else! Who knows! biggrin.gif
