 i780 GPS and WiFi

I just got my i780 and haven't unlocked it unlocked it yet but I still have a couple of questions.

Is it possible to get GPS software on the phone with map included so I don't have to connect with GPRS to use it?

Also does the WiFi work ok when the phone has been netwrok unlocked?

I know you can use both Copilot 7 and Garmin.

Thanks, the WiFi seems ok. However I haven't got the GPS to work yet. A lot of threads mention PortSplitter but I can't find the correct version for my phone. Can anyone help?

I use TeleAtlas McGuider 2008, it doesn't need PortSplitter, the GPS works straight. I believe that it's the same with iGO 8.
