i got quake 1 and 2 from here:
http://www.herz-power.de/pq.php

quake 1 runs at a pretty good framerate. quake II's framerate is acceptable, it could be better when the kaiser gets 3d drivers.

Hi there,

are there no screen problems on the kaiser with windows mobile 6.0?

I thought a white-screen fix is needed but not available for WM5.0/6.0?

whitescreen is not related to wm06, imo..

he said he's fixed this issue.

if you experience any problems when trying to start it up (for example...cannot find gfx.wad)

then your quake directory must look like this:

\Quake
\Storage Card\Quake

or

\Quake
\Storage Card\Quake2

The only problem i have on windows mobile 6 is, that the white screen error is still there...

I thought there is no Whitescreen Fix for Quake 2, but i found it! *YAY*

Now it works like a charm on my Dell x51v.

yes i downloaded the second one (AUX5), the one link called "PocketQuake-AUX5-XScale-PXA25X.rar (To use it: bind "AUX5" "togglemenu" in config.cfg)"

i cant even guarentee you it will work on the excalibur, being that it's a smartphone. you can try this:

what do u mean with \Quake

\Storage Card\Quake i know what this means a Quake map on your storage card, but what do u mean with the \Quake ?

i get the gfx.wad error...

I have the quake map in the root, and i seems to run now, only in potrait and with verry small screen, not fullscreen...
Ill take a look in the cfg file

\Quake = the devices main memory (not my documents, but the main memory) having a folder called "Quake" on it.

yes, you need to click on the .exe in landscape, then it will run quake in portrait till you click "OK" and if you've set up landscape in the cfg file it will automatically start on landscape when launched.
