not 100% sure but it is most likely a Roaming symbol from your cellular network, I used to get it on my XDA Atom exec whenever I was abroad and when I tapped it it showed me a whole bunch of vodafone services available ....

yes, it usually needs you are roaming on a foreign network.

Thx for the input.

Really not sure if it is roaming or not. I inserted a Fido (Canada) SIM, Omnia did not recognise the network, so swithed the network band to automatic and it worked ok. But now there is the normal 5bar phone icon, the E icon, and this triangle.

Fido uses the Rogers network, so technically one could say it is roaming but Rogers owns Fido so I don't quite get it.
