I've flashed my Omnia from the Voda firmware to HI1 and am broadly Ok with it, however, is there any way of reconfiguring the soft keys which are now set to 'Phone' and 'Main Menu' back to 'Phonebook' and 'Internet' as this was more convenient?

Problem solved - I installed the SoftKey editor app from the XDA forums. Works a treat!

Hi,

I am too wuss to flash my Vodafone, well at least until the warranty runs out and this means that whenever i reboot the firmware sets the right softkey back to Live! I would like it to stay at contacts and the only thing i can think of other than changing the firmware is to get some sort of script to run on start up.

Is this possible? If so then how. I guess i would need a way of running a command file with a reg command in?

Any ideas ?

thanks
