I have an iPAQ and an MPx200 and it will only sync one at a time, it will work with which ever device you plug in first...

Activesync will only handle one connection at a time to your PC.

You can have as many partnerships as you like to as many devices as you wish, however only one partnership can be active at any one time.

Maybe multiple active partnerships will be a feature in V4.xx of Activesync?

I had this with just my iPAQ and when my wife was logged into the computer the AS didn't run. When I logged in the AS ran and saw the iPAQ.
