I haven't incorporated it into my homescreen. I use it via a speed dial. It works really well and I love the option to add text to the list for regular use. It makes adding my daughter's next riding lesson a doddle.

I use it on the smt5600, and it's fantastic. I just wish they would get an update out to make it replace the standard calendar in the "in a call screen", etc.

I would also like to know how to ingtegrate it into a home screen, as right now clicking on calendar items there goes to the crappy default calendar.

I installed a demo of Papyrus and I couldn't find a way to get it to quickly enter contact and phone number in the subject line the way that power calendar does. Powe calendar, you just click and the list pops up, and you select, PApyrus, you have to go to the menu or something... it takes more steps.

For me, that feature was the ENTIRE reason I bought power calendar.

Did I miss something in Papyrus that makes it work that same way?

Papyrus is actually very nice in some ways but I cannot buy it until they integrate Tasks into the day view.

I've used PowerCalendar for several months now. It has much more functionality than Papyrus, but it takes a while to figure it all out (screen layout, shortcuts). I tried Papyrus because of the week-view, but since I often have many (4+) appointments on a day I went back to the list view that PC uses for a week. I think PC is a very solid product. They have announced a plug-in for the home screen that will thake you to PC instead of the standard calendar.

Does PowerCalendar allow the user to dial a number that's in the description, location or note of an appointment?

The menu shows a 'call' option when you select a calendar entry.
