 Bluetooth Chat example code

If anyone wants to write Bluetooth app, this seems the place to start.

is an example Bluetooth chat program (in Java). This site also has example bluetooth code (in Java). To install on the c500, download the .JAR file and click on it in file manager. Start the application using the Java program.

Question - does the MDIP 2.0 standard include bluetooth functionality or does it require a smartphone specific SDK?

I haven't got it working, anyone like to have a go?

i am not totaly new, i am somtimes in the chat, but don't write in the forum
and that spelling is becaus (there we go) i am a dutch boy

but now for the program, i cant push the chat button, doesn't do anything
could sombdy make the program better for more platforms, and more woking and stable
I have a SPC C500, my Friend a 6600 (didn't test on that one) and the other a sony erricson

Not everybody has good spelling skills tongue.gif So just keep it OT.

/dutch Want dit gaat nergens over... Als je wat post zorg dan dat het nut heeft, dit is alleen maar vervuiling.

But a BT chat prog would indeed be awesome!

There will be one released today only it's for ms smartphone clients only: www.smartjacking.com, i hope they will come with something like symbain connectivity aswell so we can finally chat via bt to stupid nokias :twisted: Or a working java client for bt chat.
