8080 is the default internet port and I presume it uses this by default. You shouldn't need to change it (unless you're doing somnething really strange

on my nokia 6230, it worked but only when i added the 8080 port. on my dopod it doesnt work at all. i would like it to work on my smarphone and i would also like it to work so i can use my ppc or palm to connect to my smartphone through bluetooth and use it as a modem. any help? thanks |

What happens when you dial *99#? Does it connect?

Dial *99# from your ophone to connect to GPRS. How else are you trying to connect to GPRS?

well i usually just open up ie or some browser and then type in a webpage and it loads except that doesnt work on my dopod. the little g comes in the corner for a second adn then disappears.
i tried manually doing it by dialing *99# and it just says "waiting..." on my phone. |
