I remember seeing a program that you enter your cell phone plan with how many minutes you have each month, and then it lets you know how many you have used, etc. etc.
i can't find it anywhere! any help appreciated, thanks! Joe |

none that I know of for the smartphone but which service are you on? I know AT&T has a service where you can text a number and they will return your usage. Maybe others do as well.

On Orange here in the UK the first option on the main CS number (150) is to find out how many minutes you have left on your price plan.

I work for att wireless and i was aware of accessing your minute usage through OCS... and through mmode, but i wasnt aware of a way you could get a response through SMS. Please let me know how thats done, could save me a ton of trouble.

i know there was software for this release about a year ago, it must not have been successful or something.
you entered in how many minutes you had each month, and what time your weekends/nights started etc. and it would let you know how many you have used so you could keep track of your usage. |

There's one called dashfly Minutes, but it is for Symbia. You can see if anyone ported this. It is a great app, used it on my 6620.

It does seem quite surprising that no one has developed an app for smartphones that does juts count how many call minutes you have used. It could easily be set up to restart counting on a set day of the month. I wonder if that kind of info can be called up by a homescreen plugin ... ?

Nice idea, I'd use it!
SMS Counters is the other common request, and that would be *really* useful for me |

well, since you are (or are almost) Cingular, try the Cingular way:
*MIN# SEND -Mc |
