does anyone know what kind of paint matches close to the interior paint on the mpx200? I wanna redo some scuffs near where i went to take off the att logo. so anyone have any clue what paint matches closest or hopefully even perfectly??? and also I ordered a display model dummy phone of the mpx200, anyone have a clue if the body is the same as the actual phone?

The body of a dummy phone should be the same, have a look at my
sticky guide in the section for taking the phone apart, hopefully it will save you having problems. -------------------- 3 mobile where the words "customer" and "service" only exists in the dictionary

i would suggest you to just use the dummy phone casing. painting the phone case is not that easy, if you did not make the right preparations before painting, you would surely suffer from paint chipoffs which would make the phone look more ugly and of course it would be more prone to scratches.

Yup... it's really not advisable to paint your phone... just use a dummy set casing, strip your mpx apart, and then put it into the dummy casing. That would work just fine.
However, any of you know where to get the dummy casing? I want to get one too... -------------------- Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

QUOTE really? i can do that? well obviously i can but how much would that be? and how? go to Motorola authorized dealers or service centers. and ask them to replace the phone casing. of coarse labor and parts charges will apply, i don't really know how much the phone casing or frame would cost. |
