Some people have said that their battery drains faster (or appears to) if you leave it on charge too long. I've not tested it, but based on very unscientific observations I'd tend to agree.

You could try letting your battery drain, then charge it until the light (which glows orange while charging) goes green. The unplug it and see how long it lasts.

You could also check things like:
1) GPRS connections - is it always on? (do you have Smartease Orange Shell?)
2) Do you have any Instant Messaging software running?
3) Is it downloading emails on a schedule?
4) What plugins your homescreen uses (try using one of the built-in ones to check)
5) Switch Bluetooth off, it might be continually sync'ing with your PC

Hmm, that's all I can come up with off the top of my head
Start with the recharge process and see how you go

Sounds more like it's not charging properly. If it was charged fully I don't think you could run it down in 6 hours unless you were using it all the tiime.

Probably a faulty battery.

The batteriies (I believe) have a chip in them to tell them when they are fully charged. If there is something wrong with this then it might not be charging fully - hence my deduction that it is probably a faulty battery.

I'm new to the c500/5600/etc., but I read that some other Smartphones would have odd battery life problems if you did a hard-reset (or firmware update), if you didn't have the battery fully charged. Have you done any hard-resets recently?
