Does anybody know how to get the i-mate PPC phone edition IR port to operate in the same way standard cell phone IR ports do? I.e. not just for receiveing contacts but to have another device dial and send through data?

Device(s): HTC TyTN

Under programs there is an Icon called 'Wireless Modem'. This enables IRDA for these features.

Heya, thanks I tried that, however, it still doesn;t work with the device from which I'm trying to send data. If I activate the IR port on various other devices - i.e. Samsung, Nokia, Ericsson phones - this device inititates a call and sends the data through, but I can't get the PPC to do the same? Perhaps there's another product which enables this?
