 Bug: Reading an SMS upon delivery

SYMPTOM:

When the SPV receives an SMS, the icon at the top shows that there is one waiting, but the home screen doesn't show it in the bar which has SMS, MMS and e-mail.

If you try to go to your Inbox anyway, it will show you that there is 1 message in the title bar, but the main window does not appear. You can still "see" the home screen through it, although you cannot navigate to it.

Going back to the home screen and then back into the inbox doesn't do any good.

This problem seems to only occur after a reset of the handset.

RESOLUTION:

Be patient! If you wait for the handset to finish whatever processing it is doing, the message appears.

This is still logged as a bug, as this is not acceptable behaviour.

I also find it annoying the way the right-hand soft key responds after receiving Text or Email. On my handset the 'Right Hand' softkey changes to message but when you click on this it takes you into the Pocket Inbox but instead of showing you the new message it shows you the last thing you had open when you were in the Inbox previously. Not exactly intuitative. Can we chalk this up as another SMS/OS bug to be fixed please.
