 how do i put photocontacts on the today screen like my p900?

i have looked through the reams of today replacements and have not seen one that screams at me you have to buy me, they all do the same thing.
what i want is to have around nine little thumbnails on the startup page and keep them there... the same as my 900 have i missed it or do i have to use something else?
