Hi !

Still trying my best to get used to the M2000's size and weight-not returned it yet and it's growing on me every day!!!

Just wondering, when I press the keyboard numbers fom the today screen the phone app comes on and there is a long beep and the keys freeze - when I open the phone app and do the same the numbers work fine.

Another bug???

Nope it works fine on mine, my keyboard keeps opening on its own though in my pocket.

What are other users' keyboards like on the sliding action? tight or easy to open??

Hi!

I'm in the today screen-I slide open the keyboard and press any of the number keys-the phone app opens automatically and the keys freeze for 10 seconds and a long tone ensues.Following this the number input works fine.

If i open the phone app then open the keyboard and do the same it's fine.

It's buggered isn't it??!

Have you installed any programs? changed any settings or is the phone just how you got it?

i can't re create this problem either, the only thing i can think of is if your just turning the phone on after having it off for a while, the wifi starts up on its own which could cause your long beep and freezing

other than that i don't know

Yep - noticed this last night. If you open the phone application first it works OK. It only seems to happen if you try to dial a number using the slide out keyboard directly from the Today screen. The keys don't seem to freeze, as I can continue pressing other numbers. It just seems to be the tone that sticks.

Wonder if those 2 torx screws at the top have any impact on the sliding action of the keyboard???

Does anyone dare to check them out??

Miner is looser than I would like to, particularly when closed. You only have to gently shake the device and it opens. When open and clicked into place it seems more solid.
