Is your router set to assign an IP address to clients? If not, it will act as you describe.

--------------------
Phone History:
Current - SPV M2000 (Early Upgrade)
Previous - (All on Orange) SPV E200; Nokia 6310i, Nokia 6210, Nokia 7110, Nokia nk702, Nokia 5.1, Original Nokia Orange. Others at various times - Ericsson SH888 (T-Mobile), Nokia 3310 (O2), NEC e616v (3)

Are you filtering MAC addresses on your router?

Managed to get it sorted out, it seems the phone was trying to use the same IP as my laptop, and there was a conflict. Have adjusted it now and all is well, Cant believe how well it works for a PDA.
