I think that GPRS needs lots of power, at least with my last phone (Nokia7650) i experienced that.
I allready read sth about doubleklicking the hang up button to disable GPRS but in which menue do i have to do this?
I'm using Wm2002.

I would also like to know this - I remember my T68 had this option which extended the battery life quite noticably! Maybe another thing Orange has failed to address???

On the MPX200 you will need to contact your service provide to deactivate GPRS from your account.
Unless you are actually using GPRS identified by the "G" on the battery level and not the main G on the center top of the screen or on the LCD display. You are not using any more battery power.

You mean that the G on the center top of the main screen just shows that gprs is availlable but not active?!?
