File Name :: NeoStream 2005
Author :: encece Category :: Other Description :: Features Homescreen only! Citytime plugin Messages Plugin All Day Event Calendar Power Tasks Profile Missed Calls Smart Monitor Comments My current personal homescreen, I thought I'd share! 8) More blue than purple on the C500/SMT5600 UPDATE: Added DATE/TIME (Carrier Plugin) as default optional replacement of Citytime plugin. If you want to use the Citytime Plugin, in the XML file, you need to: 1) remove the <!-- & --> from around the citytime plugin (comment tages) 2) comment out or remove the Carrier plugin. When using the default Carrier/Time/Date plugin, adjust your long date format in Settings>Regional Settings to make sure it fits in the block. its very nice, but it looked all wrongly aligned on my mpx200. then i realize i dont have half the plugins needed for it to display correctly, how silly!
Is it possible to put the links there instead of having users go searching for them? I know, I'm just lazy, but it sure compliments your homescreen |

Well, who's more lazy...me for not putting up the links or you for not searching for them?
By the way, I posted the photoshop psd file in the zip as well, in case, for example you dont own CityTime and wanted to use the Carrier or Date/Time plugin instead you can move some graphic elements around. -------------------- |

Do a Search.php>Search in the smartphone-customization forum. Posted from my SmartPhone!
And thanks for the kind words everyone! Something is still missing though. I wish I could animate blips following the lines in a tron-ish fashion! This post has been edited by encece: Jan 4 2005, 05:00 -------------------- |

Yes, you need the homescreen for the plugin to work. This will contain code that uses the plugin.
Simply unzip the file you downloaded and copy the contents to \Storage \Application Data \Home. Now select it in Settings and reboot the phone just to make sure everything connects. -------------------- First 48 Hours with a Smartphone ? Go here

QUOTE(encece @ Jan 4 2005, 16:34) np, yeah i didnt move the PSD file, fortunately I recognised it as a photoshop file Glad you are here actually, I have finally got everything working but all the information seems to be misaligned?? Is there a quick fix for this? edit = doh! I see from an earlier post that I need to install all the plugins right? Can anyone point me in the direction of the messages plugin? edit 2= Arrrgh I have installed a demo version of power tasks but it will not show up on my home screen! Any advice? that was is already installed....but if you are using anything than an SMT5600...you may need to change the clsid# of the plugin....but i thought that was a standard one in all smartphones
The only external plugins are: CityTime RJTasks SmartMonitor This post has been edited by encece: Jan 4 2005, 17:19 -------------------- |
