QUOTE
i-Newswire, 2005-01-06 - The first game of the Olympics is Rats&Spears. It was developed in cooperation with Absolutist.com. The concept of this free game is simple but yet addictive. The main features include but are not limited to:

-Vivid cartoon graphics
-Javelin throwing gameplay
-Hot battle in online tournament
-Arcade character of amusing sport simulator

The task of the player is not just to select a rat character and guide it from the keyboard, but also to train it in order to achieve higher and higher results in javelin throwing. Online tournament adds even more arcade character and challenges to the game. The player is quickly becoming addicted to the game and that is the key to success in the tournament. At the same time the game helps to relax and take a break from a daily routine in the office or on the go.

It is a new type of downloadable games. While Rats&Spears was meant to be distributed as a freeware, thousands of people are now donating for the purpose of development of new rat Olympic sports. Many people are now eager to become sponsors of Rat Olympics! Though, now the advertising space on the Ratadium is limited, the advertisers are welcome to apply for the next round of ads rotation.

Works fine on my C500, though it freezes if I don't press anything for too long and the screensaver trys to kick in.

Been away for a weeks holiday with it and after a great deal of play by me and my mates, the top throow is now 1394.1m

Same message that I got, although it doesn't say it anywhere on the site or during installation it seems that the game is just for WM2003.

Shame as it looked quite an addictive game to have on the phone.

no you don't, to answer my own question! But when I try to publish my score it hangs my phone and I have to remove the battery to restart it. Anyone else had this / know how to get around it?

I had a problem with it going into Hibernate mode so emailed Absolutist and they have fixed it - They sent me an email at 15:53 telling me to download the new version which I hhave not yet tried. Try downloading again and seeing if it's fixed smile.gif
