Hi,
Can anybody tell me about the sound quality of Blue Angel either though speaker or headphones? Especially with regard to MP3's. Is the quality any better than a Smartphone? Cheers Al -------------------- «»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»

Mine seems fine. The Speaker is larger than a regular SMartphone so probably a little better volume on speaker. I bought a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter and use my 3.5 headset with BetaPlayer and WMP. I think it is fine. Sound quality is really a personal thing. On the adapter I used the Bic pen ink tube trick. Cut a little less than 1mm off the tube of a BiC ink pen tube and push it over the upper part of the jack. That will give you stereo given the fact that the BlueAngel jack insert is not conventional 2.5.

I bit the bullet today and order the T-Mobile MDA III from Onestopphoneshop. Assuming they aren't pretending to have them in stock I'll soon be a fully fledged PPCPE owner 8)
I was waiting for Orange but no signal and no stock equals no more custom. |

QUOTE(Pondrew @ Jan 8 2005, 22:40) I bit the bullet today and order the T-Mobile MDA III from Onestopphoneshop. Assuming they aren't pretending to have them in stock I'll soon be a fully fledged PPCPE owner 8) I was waiting for Orange but no signal and no stock equals no more custom. I got mine form the onestopphoneshop about 2 months ago, it comes with free voice dailing software on the enclosed disc and the GPRS counter so you know how much you have spent. Wicked tool, the Wi-Fi is excellent, I had a XDA II before which I sold on eBay for a nice profit, I got the phone for £85 on a 200 mins contract with 3 month half price line rental, cant be bad. As always Orange seam to be behind the pace when it comes to PDA SPV phones. Although the SPV M2000 from orange is supposed to be shipped with a extra battery but no software. I heard that the Blue Angel has a slightly different jack plug so the standard converters dont work correctly, can anyone confirm this?? Although I'll stick to my iPod for music. I have noticed though the the speaker is not as loud as the XDA when using TomTo m and speaker phone, can anyone confirm they have the same issue? Overall excellent phone/pda no problems with it and best of all all the sat nav equipment for the XDA II work with this phone as well, if your going to get extras make sure the fitting is just the black connector as it is the metal on the outside of the connector that has changed to try and stop you using XDA II / M1000 extras Good new year to all!!!!! -------------------- www.spv4u.co.uk
For all your SPV needs Oh Lord, Oh Lord, where is my Orange Update???? |

Well, I hope it's worth waiting for as, sure enough, Onestop were indeed out of stock and don't know when it'll be in stock again... :?:
