EDIT

Looks like I have some odd M2000's here guys. Screen protectors simply will NOT work on my devices. Placing a piece of paper over the screen also prevents the touch screen from working! Thanks to those of you that pointed out the mistake!

These DO work on everyone elses M2000's perhaps its down to a change on the retail hardware?!

END EDIT

Hi guys.

Ive been testing some screen protectors on the M2000, the type that you stick to the screen.

I can confirm that this type of screen protector does NOT work with the M2000 (All Blue Angel devices). We believe that this is due to a change in the way the M2000 detects the touch screen. Most other devices are pressure sensitive but the M2000 uses a form or Image Recognition which the adhesive protectors effectivly block.

I dont think there will be any way to work around this but will keep you posted.

Thanks to JavoEdge for your input!

Will there be some other form of screen protector available or do i have to go on with my unprotected screen? Do you know of any decent screen cleaning soloution... mine is getting very dirty at the mo.

I am using Writeshield screen protectors bought from Expansys which work a treat, except for the slight lifting in places around the edges which looks a little unsightly.

Another vote for writeshield...have used them since day 1 without a problem.

As for lifting at the edges...I used them on my P900 as well, and they did the same. Wonder if it's to allow them to be removed easily for cleaning.

I've been using the Covertec ones, that PC World are now stocking.

Not had a problem with the screen sensitivity, however the only issue I've had is that in the car in certain light conditions, the screen can be hard to see.
