Does anyone know why madbeetle took off it's animated themese section? It seems that the program is not available either....from their site....anyone know what happened???

Madbeetle have removed the plugin from their website.
The last post from madbeetle was.. QUOTE("madbeetle") We will continue to sign animation files. Not sure what will happen at the moment in the long term with the plugin. Its all too complex to discuss ... So it doesn't look good  Hopefully the issue, whatever it is, will be sorted and they can release the plugin again [-o< |

A request has never been made by Madbeetle to cease usage of the plugin. On the contrary, they are still willing to sign homescreens and they even posted some homescreens on this forum. It just seems to be distribution of the plugin itself which I expect Madbeetle can't discuss. I suppose we have to wait and see what happens

I wonder if it's related to the fact that they started charging (albeit a negligible amount) for the plugin?

I wonder if its got anything to do with the other company doing animated homescreens that where asking for beta testers in January But we haven't heard anything from them then all of a sudden madbeetle brings his out.

It is strange...I can't see where the hold up would be...can someone ummm copywrite a plug in or animation? Or perhaps they got a HUGH offer to sell it outright to some major company... I know the peps at madbeetle read this maybe someone could make a squeak.....
