 evc++4.0 problem - "platform manager failed"

hello all.

once upon a time i decided to install emvc++4.0 to develop app. under my mobile smile.gif

and the problem is - i cant run ide - when i start it - i get msg box that platform manager is failed or something like this.

i cant find platform manager to reinstall it, and i even cant find it in the list of programs to remove it (maybe installation of emvc++4.0 will install it..)

who can help me ? maybe someone get the same problem ?

I haven't had that specific problem so I can't comment directly on what caused it. My suggestion for you would be uninstall and reinstall following this tutorial.. I think that if you do that, you'll be fine in the end.

I had this problem a week ago. It took me a long time to realise what was causing it. I had hard reset the smartphone, and it no longer had my development certificate on it.

Go to C:\Program Files\Windows CE Tools\wce420\SMARTPHONE 2003\Tools and run spdps /device
