I am going to australia in 2 weeks, and if possible, i would like to do the following:
1. SIM unlock my AudiovoxSMT5600 via Florin 2. Purchase a Pay as you Go SIM card while in australia probably from Vodafone (possible?) 3. Use the phone while i'm there to make calls to other Australian phone numbers, just as if i lived there. |

Can't help ya there mate. 2. All the major providers supply pre-pay SIMs. Vodafone, Optus, Telstra, etc. Vodafone's one is the "Red SIM pack" 3. Should work. You say your phone is 850, but if it's dual/tri-band, it should also support 1800MHz. If it does, you're golden, but you might not have quite as much service as a 900/1800 phone. |
