Hi All,
Amy ideas how if there is a site out there describing how to do this. Im looking at how you would go about tightening up the sliding mechanism and if at all possible the stylus gripper. Mines not bad at all at the moment, but a mates is already very loose, so I just wanted to be prepared and ready for it. Cheers -------------------- Current Phone Orange SPV M5000

I think the two little silver screws on either side near the top of the phone are for that. You'll need a Torx driver, probably smaller than a T10.

Hmmm, you wouldn't have happened to return that to Orange would you?
I recieved one in identical condition, as a "replacement" phone yesterday.... also with inferior bluetooth build... Where do I stand with Orange? |

The BT software isn't an issue I'd daresay, but you should be able to persuade them that it's bad for the looseness. Thing is, if you don't it will inevitably get worse and the longer you take to report it, the more likely you will get blamed through wear & tear or damage.
If they won't swap it and it's really bad, trading startards will sort it. It shouldn't come to that though! |
