hi,

i have a voyager phone, i noticed that i could not receive files larger than 330kb, be it infrared or bluetooth. if its smaller than 330kb, it works fine. i installed smar explorer 2, i used it to receive files using IR, it seemed to fix the problem. however, i still could not receive files using bluetooth if the its larger than 330kb, it'll ask me if i want to save it, i'll save it, but the file is nowhere to be found under my documents. is there a setting i need to change? help please...

thanks

mobiluck is a) crap, b) a rip-off and c) does not support receiving files.

Any other 3rd party software (other than smartjacking) that will allow the e200 to receive files properly over bluetooth? thanks.

I don't know if this germ of information will help.

I encountered a somewhat similar problem with a friend's motorola phone. It wouldn't accept the beam saying that there was not enough space on the phone. But the phone had an SD card that was barely even 1/4 full.

We remedied the problem by selecting the phone (local) memory and the parent folder instead of my documents folder. I would think that the during a beam, the phone will "cache" it temporarily onto its local content before forwarding it to wherever. Now if your Storage folder is low on free space, at least smaller than the file you want to beam/receive, then it will abort it.

So try beaming a large file while having a lot of free space and choose the root parent folder as the destination then just move it later. See how that factors in.
