 Mpx220 Headphones for music problem

I bought a 2.5mm to 3.5mm headphone adapter for my mpx220 and i am only getting sound from one side of the headphones....does anybody know how to make sound come out of both sides of the headphones ????

Motorola uses a different scheme for the 2.5" jack. Nokia headsets and such won't work.

You have to fiddle with it a bit to get the adapter to make contact on both channels. Try pulling the headphone jack out of the adapter just a fraction of an inch. I had the same issue and tossed mine in favor of the Moto headphones. The jack fits right and the sound is impressive.

i have a 2.5mm and you have to keep spinning the adapter or pull it in and out untill it gets ajusted.
