Just got my c500 a couple of days ago, but cant seem to install these install.xml files.

.home files work fine !

When I run the xml it says 'untitled' at the top.

Am I missing something ?

Xml files don't need installing as such.
Just connect phone to PC with ActiveSync and copy them into \Storage \Application Data \Home along with any jpegs and they will show up in Settings, Homescreen.

Do not unpack the compressed file... Place it on the smartphone, further therefrom where you have written down a file on smartphone with smartphone press this file and all will be good...

Tried your advice, but get the following error..

Installation failed. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have the adequate system permissions.

Can anyone advise ..... ?

Cheers,

Declan

I've got the same problem as Caino, the time doesn't appear on the front screen on my E200, whereas the date and carrier do.

UFO can you check the code for the positioning of the time as the location is refered to as.........

that x="-42,5" is that correct ?

Otherwise I think the theme is great, I'd just like to see the time. biggrin.gif

Thanks

i think , or even . is not valid in HS xml coordinates...

try to set it first at x=-42 first and then proceed on that...

I don't have the software to edit xml, I can edit the extracted file using notepad but then can't save it back to the cab.

Anyone got an XML editor to try BrAGoL's guestimate of x="-42" ?
