Does anybody knows how play rtsp://... urls in smartphone. I tried using PV player but no luck. After browsing and clicking on url from internet explorer pv player opens and tries to connect. By the time GRPS connect will disconnect. Earlier I was nokia 6600 able to play with realplayer.

Also in nokia (symbian) option is available to specify GPRS connection connect on on demand or always connected. In smartphone any options similar to that....in smartphone GPRS connection will be disconnected immediatly after the traffic stops.

Please help...........

Try increasing the idle timeout period to 10 minutes in Settings-Data connections, Menu-Options.

On the streaming question, do you have a link to the file ?

Thanks martin its works....I thought "none" setting in data connection menu was for always connect. One thing have noticed that in my old nokia the streaming output was much more smoother that this..this may be due to network congesstion..I'll check it my network provider..

What about the rtsp:// issue? I´m having the same problem with my HTC Mteor. I get the error message "RTSP protocol not supported".
