While most of you probably have a iMate jam in your pocket, there are some who prefer the Orange version - the m500.

For Dutch members, this is now available online on the Orange netherlands site, and next week will be in the orange shops.

My dutch is isn't brillant but I would definately say that it says WiFi is one of the options where it says syncronise. Let's hope they don't just release for busines users over here...when ever it get's here...

According to the text it does have wifi something the jam does not have , could be a orange site mistake though , the free 512 mb sd card is a nice touch as well as is the voice command option wink.gif

I have the Orange M500 now for 2 days it's a beautifull machine but it has no WiFi!! but still I think it's design is way better then the MDA Compact or other equalivants.. I don't like the rounded buttons on the MDA Compact..

The M500 is the same hardware as the Jam/MDA Compact, same memory, same processor, and same compatibility. That is, I'd be very VERY surprised if its not as branding of htc devices by provider has never gone beyond customising the asthetics...

I've said it before and I'll say it again.... WOW!!!!
I allready loved the MDA compact... but this design is even better... like the color( I love titanium so a titanium color is perfect for me) and the more squared out edges!

I've held the Dummy M500 a week ago. I loved it... I could only find one thing wrong... I allready have a contract with a C500  and that's my second contract.... so a third is not something I WANT to afford.

any rich people wan't to help me out by getting me one (or a neonode)????

Digging into the "more information" section of the Dutch site, I noticed it mentioned Windows Media Player 9???

I was expecting/hoping that it would come with WMP10.

What gives?

One of my students works at orange and had no idea what I was talking about when I asked him, never heard of it...hmm. Seems modaco users are way ahead of the shops!

I think that goes without saying !

I constantly get blank looks when asking for information about new phones. Most of the time they haven't a clue about whats coming, even a short time ahead...

Having lost my C500 I'm looking to replace it but I think I'm going to be limited to an Orange phone (I want an Eten M500!) but as this isn't out in the UK (nor is the C550) it looks like I'm going to end up with another C500 - It's a great phone but I'd like something different!

I don't suppose Orange are likely to announce this as being available in the next couple of days? wink.gif
