 that "1" on the homescreen

I see in a lot of screen shots that there is a "1" at the top right of the taskbar (I guess u can call it that.) I know it means that its line one, but whenever I'm on both lines and I minimize to the homescreen, it still doesn't show the "1" or a "2", can someone explain, maybe I can enable this feater, looks useful..

I'm using SMT 5600

On Orange UK you can have 2 lines and I assume that is the 1 or 2 you are refering too. If you only habve one line presumably this has been disabled in your ROM.

I do have two lines. When I talk on the first or second, and I minimze to the screen still it doesn't do anything.. for u guys in the UK is the "1" always at the taskbar?

Line 1 or 2, whichever I have set, always shows on the homescreen of my C500.

With the UK roms you select line 1 and 2 by pressing the # key. When you do the screen then displays which line you are currently using.
