I have picked up a couple of freeware programs which say they need the VB runtimes to work .... but the runtimes are almost 3 Mb in size and seem to only work from the Windows directory on the device sad.gif

Are they worth installing onto my Jam for anything as I can live without the few freeware apps and would rather have the extra RAM ....

if you can live without them then do not bother installing them, most new VB applications use the .net compact framework which to the best of my knowledge comes preinstalled on WM 2003
