 stuck in headphone profile

my telephone is stuck in the profile headphone so if anyone calls the can't hear me and i can't hear them, i've put the headphone in and out a couple off times but it doesn't change itno normale profile... it's a spv 500
HOW CAN HELP ME! :roll: :cry:

This can be a hardware fault but things you can try are to reset your
profiles to their default settings or even a hard reset.
Another option is to try and poke the socket with a cocktail stick.
Failing that you will need to send the phone off for repair.

you forgot what I did when I had the prob

keep plugging and unpluging the headphone lots of times quicky

it worked for be

also DONT DO HARD REST WITHOUT BACKING UP YOUR DATA as the hard rest will wipe the phone back to as it was when it came from the shop

You are the 3rd or fourth person with this problem on this forum, I had the same read my topic. Only a hard reset worked for me. Did it about a month ago phone still works without problems smile.gif

I only have had this prob once and lucky didnt need to do a hard reset smile.gif

I had same the problem. I tried all the suggestions but in the end had to call Orange and they replaced the phone the next day. I'd get some backup software though if you want to save your data.

i had this but it messed all my profles up, like headset normally then when the headset was in it changed to silent, etc. it was really all over the place. a hard reset (after backing up) cured the problem and it aint come back again...
